What is axis cube?

The Axis cube is a 3D Rubik's cube puzzle that has a unique design where the center pieces can move along an axis perpendicular to their respective faces. This creates additional complexity to solve the puzzle compared to a traditional Rubik's cube. The Axis cube has six faces and twelve center pieces that move along their respective axis. The puzzle was designed by a French mechanical engineer, Michel Van den Bergh, in 2011. The Axis cube is available in various sizes and can be solved using standard Rubik's cube algorithms along with specific moves for the axis center pieces. It is a popular puzzle among speedcubers and puzzle enthusiasts.
